DSS emerges stronger with win of 250 Sarpanches, Panches: Lal Singh

JAMMU, Dec 2: Former Minister and Dogra Swabhiman Sangthan (DSS) leader Ch Lal Singh today said that with the winning of his 250 Sarpanches and Panches in the recently held Panchayat elections in Jammu region, the DSS has been emerging as stronger in the region.
While addressing large gathering of newly elected the Sarpanches and Panches of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan, Ch Lal Singh said that their spectacular win in the Panchayat election is beginning of the war for the justice of the Jammu and many more miles are to be travelled. But the initial start which has been made by the victory of the Sarpanches and Panches in the Panchayat election is great achievement. He further appealed to them to work honestly for the development of the region. He also honoured them along with ex-MLA Kanta Andotra in a well attended function at his Kathua residence.
Ch Lal Singh referred to his commitment made at Jammu on Nov 3, about the participation of the Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan in the Panchayat elections. He said the wining of the Sarpanches of DSS is a win of the agenda of Jammu.
Pertinent to mention here that senior BJP leader and former minister Choudhary Lal Singh on November 3 had said that his newly floated DSS would contest the Panchayat elections. He further said Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan has already released 25 point vision document which clearly reflects his vision for the development of Jammu.
Lal Singh said Sarpanches and Panches of DSS does not have to keep a small vision like the development of the lanes and drains but they have to focus on the 25 points of the vision document including separate Public Service Commissions and Service Selection Board, rotational Chief Minister, promotion of Dogra art, culture and language etc. as mentioned in the document. He alleged that Dogras of Jammu region have been facing discrimination for the last seven decades. Kanta Andotra, ex-MLA also spoke on the occasion.
Later, in the evening Ch Lal Singh and Garu Ram ex- MLA addressed a huge gathering at village Narhi, Panchayat Gazipur Kullian, RS Pura and appealed to the masses for the support of Sarpanches and Panches of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan in the area.
