Dry day on May 16

JAMMU, Apr 15: As per the order of Excise Commissioner,  certain liquor shops in districts of Samba, Reasi, and Udhampur  have been ordered to observe dry day on the day of counting of votes for general elections (2014) – the May  16.
“In view of counting of votes on May 16, 2014 of General Election to Lok Sabha, Saki Wine shop, Gangyal, Nand Kishore Wine Shop, Rajpura and Sun &Sand Bar & Restaurant, Ghagwal of Samba district, Surinder Wine shop Manthal and Sansar Chand Wine Shop, Manjalta of Udhampur district and Kamla Devi Wine Shop Pouni, Harbhajan Wine Shop Bharakh and Rossi Wine Shop, Bhambla of Reasi district shall also observe the day as dry day”, said the order issued by Excise Commissioner.
