POONCH, Dec 5: The police today nabbed a drug-peddler here and recovered 540 gms heroin from his possession.
Official sources said that a police party led by SHO, Ajay Jamwal during naka under the supervision of DySP headquarters, intercepted a villager and during search recovered 540 gm heroin from his bag. He was arrested and case FIR No. 176 RPC was registered against him. He was identified as Qamar Din, son of Amar Din, resident of Hari Budha. He has been booked under NDPC Act.
