SRINAGAR, Feb 18: Police today said it has arrested a drug peddler in Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A police spokesman said police laid a checkpoint at Glass Tower in Qazigund area. “During the checking a vehicle bearing registration number JK02AR-0788 driven by Porshatam Kumar of Udhampur was intercepted. On checking, two kilograms of poppy straw was recovered from the vehicle,” he said.
The spokesman added that police have registered a case and investigation is going on.
