DODA, Nov 16: Bhaderwah police arrested a drug peddler along with cannabis.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station laid a naka near Dandi Hospital road and intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 250 grams of cannabis from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Uttam Singh, son of Jagdev Kumar of Noori tehsil Bhaderwah.
A case under FIR Number 140/17 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bhaderwah Muneer Ahmed Khan made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
