KISHTWAR, May 12: Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered large quantity of intoxicant capsules from his possession, a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Nisar Ahmed, son of Ghulam Ahmed, a resident of Kuchhan, at present Sangrambhatta, district Kishtwar.
The official said that the accused used to sell these drugs among youth and students in and around Kishtwar town, adding that police was tracking him since last many days.
A case under FIR Number 116/18 under Section 48 Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
