SRINAGAR, Jan 14: Police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered nine kilograms of cannabis from his possession in Awantipora area of Pulwama district.
A police spokesman said a police party of Police Post Reshipora apprehended one person during a naka checking at Renzipora and recovered nine kilograms of cannabis from his possession.
The accused was identified as Azad Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Maqbool Dar, a resident of Renzipora.
