SRINAGAR, Jan 5: Police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered one kilogram of charas powder from his possession at Hajin area of Bandipora district.
A police party headed by SDPO,Sumbal, Sheikh Tahir Amin and SHO Police Station, Hajin, Saqib Ghani laid a naka at Hajin and recovered one kilogram of charas powder from the possession of one Manzoor Ahmad Dar alias Waghay, son of Mohammad Maqbool Dar, a resident of Shahgund Hajin.
A case was registered in this connection under Section 8/20 NDPS Act in Police Station Hajin and investigation was taken up.
