JAMMU, Jan 27: A driver was found dead in a truck at Narwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a truck driver identified as Bhagwan Singh (45) son of Roop Singh, a resident of RS Pura, was found dead in his stationary truck at main market Narwal on January 26.
He said on getting information police reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting post mortem, it was today handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
“Though prima facie it appears that the man died to cardiac arrest but the exact reasons will be known only after the postmortem report comes”, the spokesman said, adding, inquest proceedings in this connection has been initiated by Narwal police.
