DODA, Aug 4: A driver was killed, when the tractor trolley he was driving rolled down into gorge at Seva Morh area, falling under the jurisdiction of Thathri Police Station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02BD-6715 was on its way to Charala from Thathri, when the driver failed to negotiate a sharp curve and it plunged into gorge near Seva Morh, resulting into on the spot death of driver.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and retrieved the body from the gorge.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
The deceased has been identified as Roof Chand, son of Nain Banth, a resident of Bolyan.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Thathri Police Station and investigation started.
