JAMMU, Feb 25: Satwari police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a driver along with poppy straw.
As per police spokesman, a team from Satwari police station during checking at Nikki Tawi near Chatha intercepted a tempo.
During checking, police recovered 3 kilograms poppy straw from the vehicle and arrested the driver.
A case has been registered at police station Satwari and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Mohammad Rafiq Manhas and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
