RAMBAN, July 9: Banihal police arrested a driver for endangering human lives.
As per police sources, a team from Banihal Police Station led by Inspector Aejaz Wani during vehicle checking near village Holan intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK14B-5068, which was on its way to Banihal from Chapnari.
During checking, it was found that 20 persons were traveling in the vehicle and seized it.
The driver of the vehicle identified as Joginder Singh, son of Darshan Singh, a resident of Chapnai has been arrested for endangering human lives.
A case under FIR Number 112/18 under Section 336 RPC has been registered against the arrested driver at Police Station Banihal and investigation started.
