Driver among 6 injured as Tavera turns turtle

RAMBAN, Apr 12: Six persons including a driver was injured, when the Tavera car they were traveling in turned turtle near Jaswal Bridge on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway here this evening.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK01N-6508 was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it turned turtle near Jaswal Bridge on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, causing injuries to six persons including the driver.
After getting information, a team from Ramban Police Station rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital in police and other vehicles.
The injured have been identified as Zahoor Ahmed (driver), son of Ghulam Nabi Hajam, Taja Begum, wife of Mohammad Ramzan, Sakina Begum, wife of Abdul Rashid, Raja Begum, wife of Abdul Rehman, Zahoor Ahmed, son of Abdul Rehman and Abdul Rashid, son of Mohammad Ramzan, all residents of Tangmarg Baramulla, Kashmir.
A case under FIR Number 41/17 under Section 279 and 337 RPC has been registered at Ramban Police Station investigation has taken up.
