SRINAGAR, Sept 27: Dr. Karan Singh, Member Parliament and former Union Minister, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Governor and Dr. Singh held wide ranging discussions regarding the prevailing situation and the steps required to be taken for the restoration of peace and normalcy in the State.
Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, Advisor to the Chief Minister also met Governor. They discussed several important issues relating to the advancement of the education sector, particularly focusing on problems relating to the functioning of universities and institutions of higher education.
