Dr Karan grants financial aid of Rs 15 lakh to JYBT

JAMMU, Aug 28: Dr Karan Singh, Chariman/Trustee of Jammu and Kashmir Dharamarth Trust granted financial aid of Rs 15 lakh on behalf of Dharamarth Trust to Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT).
The amount was given by Dr Karan Singh to Pawan Kumar Shastri, president, Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, Jammu/Haridwar during the latter’s recent visit to New Delhi when he requested Dr Singh to extend his helping hand for further development of the Bhawan for the benefits of the visiting Yatris.
During his visit, Shastri also apprised Dr Karan Singh about various developmental works taken in hand including that of three-storey Temple complex. On behalf of management of Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, Shastri assured Dr Singh that the amount granted by him shall purely be used for the developmental work of the Haridwar Bhawan and providing benefits to the visiting Yatries to Haridwar Bhawan in the time to come.
Earlier, in October 2003 on the auspicious occasion of ‘Sharad Navratri’, Dr Karan had paid his kind visit to Jammu Yatri Bhawan, Haridwar and accorded financial aid to the Bhawan to run free langer seva for the devotees and visitors visiting Haridwar on behalf of Dharamarth Trust/Rajparivar.
