Dr Jitendra distributes loan letters amounting Rs 8 cr under Mudra scheme

JAMMU/KATHUA, May 14: Maintaining that all policies and programmes of Narendra Modi led Union Government have been framed focusing poor people of this country, Union Minister of State in PMO with independent charge of North Eastern States, Dr Jitendra Singh today said that BJP is committed to fulfill the dream of former Jana Sangh president and veteran leader of the country Pt Deen Dayal Upadayay “to serve the last man in the last queue”.
Addressing the two functions one held by State Bank of India (SBI) in connection with distribution of special loans under Mudra Yojna , start up India and other schemes of Narendra Modi led Government at Trikuta Nagar Jammu SBI Office and formally laying the foundation stone of Biotech  Park at Ghatti Kathua later in the afternoon, Dr Jitendra Singh said the dream of Upadayay was that every Yojna which will be framed by the Government should have the basic objective to uplift that start of  the society which is lagging behind in all respects.
Dr Jitendra Singh distributed loans under PM’s Mudra Yojna and other schemes worth eight crore among 236 beneficiaries drawn from various parts of Jammu region.
Dr Jitendra Singh, while highlighting the three years achievements of Narendra Modi led Union Government said that “ we did not make only promises in elections but put them into reality”.
He said distribution of the special letters under Mudra and other schemes is the vindication that Modi Government is true to its commitments and promises.
He said soon after taking over as PM Modi said my Government is wedded to cause of poor. “Though many schemes and yojnas have been framed for the betterment and upliftment of the people the need of hour still is to explain the masses about the benefits of these schemes and yojnas”, he added.
The function at Jammu among others was attended by Abijit Majumdar, General Manager SBI, Ajay Sharma Regional Manager, SBI, DGM A K Singh, BJP Mahila Morcha State president Purnima Sharma, and BJP senior leader Sanjeev Sharma, BJYM National Executive Member  Seh Prabhari Punjab Bharat Sharma and  Divinder Wazir while function at Ghatti was attended by Director CSIR, Dr Ram Vishwakarma, DC Kathua, Ramesh Kumar, SSP Kathua Suliman Choudhary, BJP district president Kathua, Prem Nath Dogra and others.
The programme was coordinated with SBI by Bharat Sharma on the directives of Dr Jitendra Singh.
At Ghatti Kathua while laying foundation of Biotech Park, Dr Jitendra Singh said this is the first Park in Northern India after Lucknow in UP.
Without naming Congress or any party, he said such projects should have been initiated before 60 years but the previous Governments failed to do it. He said it is a matter of pride that three months after taking the reigns of the Government this park was announced by Modi Government and Kathua became the first place where it was established.
He said another park will be now established in Kashmir valley also. He said though the foundation stone of park was laid already but due to delay in transfer of land a hitch was created in its construction. Earlier an objection was raised that the land falls on red zone and later I took up the issue with then Union Environment and Ecology Minister Parkash Javedkar , the issue was resolved and along with it 10 other parks all over country which were facing same problem got the NOC.
He also complimented the Minister of Science and Technology, Sajjad Gani Lone for extending his full cooperation in establishment of park. Dr Singh announced though 90 percent funds for the park were to be given by Union Government and 10 percent to be borne by the State Government but for the speedy construction of park Centre will provide these 10 percent funds also, he added.
He announced that park will be completed within 18 months. He termed the announcement of Chhattergala tunnel and designating of Bani Basholi -Bhadarwah road as highway by Union Government a new mile stone in State’s progress and development.
He said Aromatic plantation in Basholi, a project of holistic medicines and establishment of standard kind of seed plant in Kathua are aimed to make Kathua a model district of country.
He said as there are hurdles in industrialization in the State but these projects will definitely help in creating employment avenues. He asserted the  Modi Government’s policy that instead of employment the Government will create avenues of employability.
Addressing the function Ram Vishwakarma, Director CSIR Jammu said establishment of Biotech Park has opened a new chapter in State’s development. This park will emerge a sign of prosperity for people of the area as it will help to tap the wealth of the area.
The park will be established on 10 to 11 acres of land and it will be fully developed. A lot of work has already be done on it and targeted date for its completion is 18 months.
DC Kathua Ramesh Kumar termed the park as gift for the people of Kathua.
BHJP District president Prem Nath Dogra highlighted various developmental projects brought by Dr Singh for Kathua district and said that Chhattergala tunnel will bring a change in the area and boost tourism also.
He made a dig at the previous Governments and leaders for ignoring the district completely.
Earlier Dr Jitendra Singh at SBI function held in Jammu gave two laptops to two twin sisters Akhansha Gupta and Anshika Gupta who got first and third position in Class12th examinations respectively the results of which were announced recently.
