DPS Leh dedicates shooting range to students

LEH, Oct 4: Delhi Public School (DPS) Leh today added another feather in its cap by dedicating the International-level Shooting-Range to students here.
On the occasion, Executive Councillor Sheep and Animal Husbandry Mumtaz Hussain Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council was the chief guest and Vishwamitra Anand, Commandant 16th Battalion Indo-Tibetan Border Police was the guest of honour besides Pro-Vice Chairperson DPS Leh TP Singh, staff and students of DPS Leh were also present.
The chief guest along with guest of honour in presence of PVC Leh, staff and students throw open the shooting range for the students, which is the first one in whole of the Ladakh region.
A cultural programme consisting of patriotic songs and dances depicting the culture of Ladakh was performed by the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Mumtaz Hussain advised the students to take benefits from sports and extra-curricular activities so as to develop their body and brain. Commandant ITBP assured every possible help to the students for developmental purposes.
Pro-Vice Chairperson DPS Leh TP Singh also spoke on the occasion.
