Srinagar, Mar 2: In a major fire incident, over a dozen residential structures were reduced to ashes on the outskirts of city here during last night.A major fire erupted from a residential house in Parimpora area here and engulfed nearby houses during night hours, residents said. They said immediately after the blaze broke out, they informed Fire and Emergency Services, who rushed fire tenders to the spot.
The firemen had a tough time in dousing the flames and the inferno within no time left 14 houses along with property worth crores completely damaged. Locals meanwhile demanded immediate relief to the victim families and sought their rehabilitation.
