JAMMU: Delhi-bound trains from Jammu Tawi railway station are running late from its scheduled time due to doubling of track at Jalandhar in Punjab.
“Due to ongoing work of doubling of railway track from Jalandhar to Suchhi Pind, trains are running few hours late from its scheduled timing,” an official here said.
He said some of the trains left the platform on time but others got delayed. The work is in progress on the track, which will be completed in days.
Meanwhile, there was heavy rush of tourists at Jammu Tawi railway station due to delayed trains. (AGENCIES)
