Doon International School organizes Sahodaya Inter-School Debate Competition

JAMMU, Aug 10: Doon International School, Jammu organized an Inter School Debate Competition under the aegis of Sahodaya School Complex, here.
The topic of the debate was “My happiness quotient is more important than my academic excellence”.
Nireputed Sahodaya schools of Jammu region participated in the event with great zeal and enthusiasm.
President Sahodaya School Complex Jammu, Jagdish Singh Dhami Principal Heritage School Jammu; Nirmal Mahna, Principal DPS Rajbagh, Kathua and General Secretary Jammu Sahodaya were the chief guests on the occasion, while KCS Mehta, Principal, APS Akhnoor and Vivek Arora, Principal, Bhargava Public School, Samba were the guests of honour. The event was judged by Madhvi Sharma, Senior Broadcaster, Radio Kashmir Jammu and Supriya Chouhan, Lawyer, High Court Jammu.
Gayatri Singh of APS Damana School bagged 1st prize followed by Anubhav Dubey of Doon International School Jammu and Praguni Wazir of APS Nagrota who shared the 2nd position. Ridhima Bhardwaj of KC International School Jammu and Saransh Mahajan of APS Nagrota shared the 3rd prize. The consolation prize was shared by Daksh Manhas of Doon International School and Nittya of APS Akhnoor.
Rachana Khanna conducted the proceedings of the programme, while the vote of thanks was presented by Dr Vikesh Kaur, Principal, Doon International School Jammu.
Mr Dhami and Ms Mahna also spoke on the occasion and lauded the efforts of the students and the teachers for brilliant display.
