SRINAGAR: The District Level Screening and Coordination Committee(DLSCC) Kupwara on Saturday reviewed the militancy-related cases and sanctioned ex-gratia and other compensations to militancy affected families, an official spokesman said here this evening.
He said District Magistrate Khalid Jahangir chaired the joint meeting of officers of different agencies and discussed 38 cases. Out of 15 death, eight cases were cleared for ex-gratia relief to the next of kin of the deceased persons, while 11 injured cases were also approved for compensation by the DLSCC. (AGENCIES)
