JAMMU, June 2: DK Mehrotra, took over the charge as Chairman of the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India.
Mehrota joined the LIC as a Direct Recruit Officer in Jamshedpur division in 1977. In an illustrious career spanning 35 years, he held various importance assignments in different capacities.
He has been Managing Director of LIC since 2005. He has held almost all the important portfolios such as investment, personnel, information technology, actuarial, engineering, international operations, corporate communications, etc.
