JAMMU, Mar 13: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal convened a meeting to review the traffic scenario in Jammu City and discuss the measures to streamline traffic movement.
Vice Chairman, JDA, MD JKSRTC, Director Land Management JDA, SSP Jammu, SSP Traffic, ADC Jammu, GM, SRTC, Joint Commissioner JMC, Regional Transport Officer, ASP Railway, SE JDA besides other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
Divisional Commissioner stressed on better synergy between the concerned agencies to ensure better traffic movement and avoid congestion.
Later, the Divisional, Commissioner also visited ISBT Narwal and asked the concerned to ensure it is operationalized at an earliest to decongest the Bus Stand area.
He also visited Railway Yard and inspected the pace of ongoing works of flyover at Bikram Chowk.
Divisional Commissioner directed the concerned to gear up men and machinery to ensure that timelines for its completion.
