JAMMU, Mar 23: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Hemant Kumar Sharma today directed the officers of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts to speed up the development works being executed in their respective districts so that commitments made by Chief Minister during the public meetings as part of her “Public Out Reach Programme” are fulfilled in a time bound manner.
Hemant Kumar Sharma, while addressing a video conference with these officers, asked them to ensure quality work.
Div Com was apprised of status of various works being undertaken in Doda which mainly included Revamping/ Upgradation of WSS Khalleni-Pul Doda, construction of Ghati-Gurakha road under PMGSY, construction of road to Patta, power supply to Patta, construction of lane drains and providing of street lights in MC Doda, Bhaderwah and MC Thathri besides various other development works.
Similarly, Div Com was informed about the present status of development works being executed in Ramban and Kishtwar districts.
The Divisional Commissioner reviewed the status of all the directions made by the Chief Minister in these districts and gave directions for timely completion of all on-going development works.
Meanwhile, the Divisional Commissioner was informed about various issues hampering the development works. He assured that all the issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for early redressal.
