Div Com reviews arrangements for CJI’s visit

JAMMU, Oct 4: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal today chaired a high level meeting to review the arrangements being put in place for the visit of Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice T.S. Thakur.
Justice T S Thakur will be visiting Ramban on October 8 to inaugurate Justice D D Thakur Memorial Library at District Court Ramban, Munsiff Court at Ukhral (Kunchi), Community Hall at Batroo, Ukhral besides laying foundation stone for Munsiff Court Complex at Ukhral.
The meeting was attended by, Deputy Commissioner Simrandeep Singh, IGP Danish Rana, Director RDD Pardeep Kumar, Director School Education Smita Sethi, Director Litigation Jammu Rohit Gupta, Joint Director Tourism Vishesh Mahajan, Joint Director Information, T R Shastri, General Manager JKTDC Rajni Gupta, SSP Traffic Kotwal, SSP Security Ramesh Kumar Angral and other concerned senior officers.
DC Ramban Mohammad Aijaz and SSP Ramban Kumar attended the meeting through video conferencing.
Threadbare discussion was held over the arrangements being put in place by various departments for the visit of Justice T S  Thakur.
Deputy Commissioner and SSP apprised the meeting of several arrangements especially security being put in place at Ramban, Konchi, Ukhral and Hoonga, where the functions are being organized.
IGP Jammu informed that fool proof security grid will be provided to the VVIPs at all the venues.
Divisional Commissioner exhorted upon the officers to work in tandem for appropriate arrangements for CJI’s visit.
