JAMMU, Feb 16: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Pardeep Gupta conducted video conference with Deputy Commissioners of Jammu province to take stock of action taken report/status of various vital issues here today.
Threadbare discussion were held on various issues pertaining to submission of proposals to State Executive Council for assistance under SDRF, acquisition of land for 135 feet wide strip for wide fencing on international border, status note on army agenda points of the forthcoming CMLC and Stamp Duty rates for the year 2013-14.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu impressed upon all the Deputy Commissioners to ensure early redressal of all these vital issues in their respective districts for the convenience of the people. He directed all Deputy Commissioners to furnish all admissible claims for compensating the loss of life/ private properties and infrastructure of various departments due to floods, heavy rainfalls, clouds burst, etc.
The meeting also discussed other important issues like pending APRs/Service particulars of employees for Divisional Level Departmental Promotion Committee meeting, problems of DPs of 1947, 1965 and 1947 and West Pakistani Refugees, acquisition of land under mining-demining (Operation Parakarm) in Sub Division Akhnoor and Assembly Session in February- March, 2013.
