POONCH, Nov 22: A wonderful and interesting district level quiz competition in Hindi for secondary classes was organized by DIET Poonch at SD Sabha High School, Poonch, today.
The competition was presided over by Nagesh Arya HoD CMDE Wing. The purpose of organizing this competition was to judge the quickness, sharpness in understanding the know how of Hindi Language and quick response of the students in allotted time.
Saroj Bala, Lecturer and Vijay Geeta acted as anchors whereas Richa Sharma and Dharminder Shastri performed the duties of scorer and time keeper respectively. Speaking on the occasion Shashi Kapoor Principal S D Sabha High School advised the students to take part in these activities which provide ample oppurtunities to show their talent and understanding.
She also thanked Principal DIET and its faculty for organization of these competitions. The team of Government High School Jhulas secured 1st , Government High School Mangnar and High School Guru Niwas Poonch secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The fourth position was bagged by the host school. Trophies were given to the winning teams.
Other who were present included Gurmeet Singh, Anuradha Raina, Mohd Iqbal, Bindra and staff members of the host School. The vote of thanks was presented by Lecturer Saroj Bala.
