JAMMU, Dec 15: Two days District Kupwara Wushu Championship concluded at Gulistan Public School, Villgam, here today.
Around 200 students drawn from various Schools participated in the event.
Principal of the School, Abdul Hamid Khan distributed medals and trophies among the players and lauded the efforts of District Kupwara Wushu Association for promotion of this sports discipline.
Aijaz Ahmed, General Secretary, District Kupwara Wushu Association appealed J&K State Sports Council for providing better facilities to this medal winning sport.
General Secretary of J&K Wushu Association, Kuldeep Handoo lauded the efforts of the organizers for holding the event despite chilly weather conditions.
