RAMBAN, May 12: Shoaib Jeelani has been re-elected as President District Football Association (DFA) Ramban while Faizan Mir and Danish Farooq have been elected as Secretary and Treasurer. Secretaries of 10 football clubs of the district Ramban participated in the election.
District Football Association is affiliated with the J&K Football Association, recognized by J&K State Sports Council that works for the up-lift of the game football and its players.
We want to recognise the local clubs and bring the talented players to state and national levels, and want to improve the quality of our game with better facilities, said Shoaib.
He also express his desire to organise a state level tournament in this district to create interest among the young players.
