District Badminton C’ship from Aug 29

JAMMU, Aug 18: Jammu City and District Badminton Association, under the auspices of Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association is organising 33rd Jammu District Badminton Championship from August 29 to September 2, 2018 at MA Stadium and Police Lines Badminton Hall, here.
According to a handout issued here, the events in the Championship will include Under-10 boys and girls singles, Under-13 boys and girls singles and doubles, Under-15 boys and girls singles and doubles, Under-17 boys and girls singles and doubles, Under-19 boys and girls singles and doubles, Under-19 mixed doubles, men and women singles and doubles, besides veteran men and women singles and doubles.
The Association has advised the players desirous to participate in the event to deposit their entry fee with Satpal Singh, Badminton Coach MA Stadium, Vikram Jamwal, Badminton Coach Jammu University or Sukhdev Singh at Police Lines Badminton Hall.
According to the organisers, the matches will be played strictly as per BAI rules and the matches of veteran category will start at 6 am in the morning, while rest of the match will begin at 10 am on each day. The draws will be held on August 29, 2018 at 2 pm at MA Stadium, Jammu.
