ANANTNAG, Jan 30: District Anantnag Carrom Championship, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association concluded at Sports Stadium, here today.
The participating players displayed extraordinary skills despite chilly weather conditions to vie for the top honours.
SHO Anantnag Sameer Ahmad and Advocate Owais Ahmad Khan were the special guests on the valedictory function, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up players on the occasion.
They advised the players to participate more and more in sports and allied activities and assured organization of more such tournaments.
Sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council, the tournament was held under the supervision of Arif Ahmad, Ayoub Ahmad, Mohd Shafi, Basit Ahmad Khan and Junaid Mustafa. Danish Mushtaq was the organizing secretary of the tournament.
