Displaced Unit of BJP holds meet

JAMMU, Oct 25: Displaced Unit of BJP held a meeting at TRT Nagrota, near here today in which large number of members of Kashmiri migrants participated.
BJP State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul emphasized upon the community that for participation in the ensuring elections it was of paramount importance to fill the Form 6 and Form 8. By doing so, the community can help the Party in attainment of Mission 44+ of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
The meeting said Mr Modi is keen to solve the problems of migrants for good. The meeting appealed the community to ensure its total participation in the election process with great enthusiasm. Koul made it clear that the previously framed BJP Migrant Cell would function full-fledged migrant unit of BJP under the vibrant leadership of T.N. Bhat and a separate office in this connection has already been made functional at Sarwal, Jammu.
Senior BJP leader Nand Kishore Sharma made it clear that the organization has already taken cognizance of the problems of the camps and non-camps and all the problems will be solved on war footing basis.
Taking a dig at the Relief Organization T.N. Bhat, said that the organization is a den of corruption and the community is disappointed at the functioning of Relief organization. Pertinent to problems viz bifurcation of ration cards, framing of domicile certificates etc are deleted. Even the RBA was denied, he added.
He appealed the Central Government to implement the already declared increase in relief, grant scholarships to the students of the displaced community (meritorious and poor).
Those who participated in the meeting among others included Varinder Kuchroo, P.N. Pandita, Veena Gurtoo, A.K. Pandita, Bansi Bhat, Bushan Koul, P. L. Raina, P.L. Dhar, Balji Raina, Bharat Sharma and Sunil Raina.
