Discussions on for ‘Supernatural’ spin-off

LONDON, Oct 25:  ‘Supernatural’ executive producers have revealed that The CW is still keen on developing a spin-off.
Jeremy Carver and Eric Kripke praised the “incredible” support from the network. They added that they intend to learn from their experience with ‘Supernatural: Bloodlines’, which did not receive a pickup after a backdoor pilot aired, reported Digital Spy.
“I think maybe one lesson would be to take a couple of episodes to introduce some of your new characters to the fandom, so the fandom could get used to them and is rooting for them,” Carver said.
“It’s definitely something that we’re actively discussing… So many stories have been told. So if anything, it makes it a bit more difficult to get it right.”
‘Supernatural: Bloodlines’ would have been set in the city of Chicago, and starred Lucien Laviscount as a rookie cop turned hunter caught in the crossfire of a monster war.
CW president Mark Pedowitz said in the summer that the network was “very open” to the idea of another spin-off. (PTI)
