SAMBA, Jan 16: Choudhary Lal Singh, founder president of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan, today said that discouragement of Dogri language in schools is not acceptable at all.
Addressed a mammoth gathering in the holy town of Utterbehni, Lal Singh warned the authorities and regulators of Education policy in the state that discrimination against Dogri language and discouraging the same to speak in the schools is not at all acceptable to Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan.
He said Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan will fight for the respect and dignity of the Dogri language in the schools. He appealed the managements of all the schools in Jammu province to give due space to the mother tongue in the schools which forms the basis of our healthy culture.
“It’s the high time when all Dogras should realize their strength and must stand against the atrocities of Kashmiri rulers. It was a deep rooted conspiracy and a well designed plan of Kashmiris that the maximum wine shops are given to Jammu, simply to weaken its strength and divert the youth towards disaster,” he said, adding, Dogras will never eye upon anybodies share but will never tolerate if anybody tries to grab its own.
While attacking some self styled Jammu leaders of Kashmir based parties, Lal Singh called upon them that it is the last and mercy chance for them to shun their self destructive ideology and join Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan to make good of their life time evils and for the growth and welfare of their posterity.
Dr Hari Dutt Shishu (general secretary of the Sangathan) and K D Singh and Kuljeet Singh (vice presidents of the Sangathan) also spoke on the occasion.
