Dimple demands Jammu AIIMS OPD in GMC

JAMMU, Jan 23: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) president Sunil Dimple has asked Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to start the OPD of the Jammu AIIMS in GMC, Super Specialist Hospital, Jammu and work swiftly on project to make the “Jammu Smart City”.
Addressing a press conference, Sunil Dimple urged the Chief Minister and appealed all the MLAs, MLCs to pass resolution on the floor of the Assembly and the Council to open the “OPD of the Jammu AIIMS” till the AIIMS is established in the Jammu region and also make Jammu a “smart city”.
He alleged BJP MLAs failed to represent Jammu region properly in the Assembly. He said that AIIMS doctor’s recruitment process should start in GMC and in Super Specialist Hospital, Jammu.
He also demanded chief minister to allocate special funds to solve the traffic problem in the Jammu city and include the construction of the flyovers at Rehari Chungi and Jewal Chowk in the Budget.
Sunil Dimple also asked the Chief Minister to announce the financial package for the construction of the Tawi artificial lake. He also demanded announcement of the construction of the Chenab Water Supply Project in the budget.
He demanded speeding-up work on Mubarkh Mandi Project as the same is suffering for shortage of funds. He also touched various demands and grievances of the people and urged the Government for amelioration of the same at the earliest.
