DIG lays thrust on handling NDPS cases professionally

JAMMU, July 9: DIG Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban (DKR) range Rafiq-ul-Hassan emphasized on handling NDPS cases professionally and follow the guidelines and SOP issued from time to time in this regard so that conviction rate goes is enhanced.
He said this during a meeting of RPHQ Batote, which was called to discuss various matters pertaining to the office of RPHQ Batote as well as DKR Range.
DIG issued detailed instructions guidelines to the staff of RPHQ Batote in order to ensure punctuality, discipline and work culture at RPHQ Batote.
DIG stressed upon professional policing in all fields of police working especially investigation of cases on its merits. The investigation of cases needs to be intensified and the same should be carried on professionally after getting advice from  prosecution wing, so that case are investigated, tried and decided on merits, he added.
DIG stressed for conducting police public meetings frequently so that police-public relations are strengthened and common people have full faith and confidence on the working of police force.
“Special care needs to be taken of the weaker section of the society to protect their rights and remain always available for them”, he added.
