DIET Kud organizes 7th District Level Science Exhibition

UDHAMPUR, Dec 19: A valedictory function of 7th District Level Science Exhibition organised by DIET Kud was held at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Udhampur, here today.
Balbir Singh, CEO Udhampur, was the chief guest on the occasion while VK Soni, Principal, DIET Kud, four Judges from SIE Jammu, ML Kailu (Retd) Joint Director, SK Gandotra (Retd) Joint Director, Ramesh Kant (Retd) Principal DIET, Ram Rattan Sharma (Retd) Principal DIET, HOD’s of DIET Kud, JM Tharmatt, RS Gandral, Rashpal Singh Chauhan, Ved Parkash Sharma, Sarita Rani, Sudesh Kumar, were also present.
In the exhibition 110 models were displayed— 35 by Elementary, 50 by Secondary and 25 by Higher Secondary Schools of District Udhampur.
Among Elementary Schools, Government Middle School, Manthal, GMS Little Flower and Bright Carrier bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, respectively.
HS Shanti Niktan, GHS Bhartia Vidya Mandir and GGHS Ramnagar won 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, respectively among Secondary Schools.
GHSS Jaganoo, GHSS Krimachi and GHSS Garhi bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, respectively amon Higher secondary Schools.
The chief guest along with other dignitaries inspected all the models and appreciated the student and teachers for their efforts.
VK Soni presented the annual report while Balbir Singh distributed prizes to the winner schools and consolation prizes to other schools.
