JAMMU, Mar 15: Rashtriya Samajwadi Party Secular (RSPS) is going to field State vice president of Party Sanjay Dhar from Anantnag and its State president Engineer Sajad Reshi from Srinagar Parlimentary Constituency for the by-polls for the two Lok Sabha seats to be held next month.
The decisions to this effect has been taken in a meeting of the party which was chaired by party president S. U. Chaturvedi today. It is pertinent to mention here that Anantnag Lok Sabha Constituency is going for by-elections on April 12 whereas on April 9 Srinagar Lok Sabha Constituency will go to polls.
Anantnag seat had fallen vacant after Mehbooba Mufti took over as the Chief Minister of the State Whereas Srinagar seat fell vacant after Tariq Karra, resigned from Lok Sabha seat.
