JAMMU, Feb 28: Director General of Police Dilbag Singh today sanctioned retirement gift of rupees 60 lakh in favour of 100 police personnel of J&K Police, who retired from service this month.
Order has been issued by PHQ for grant of retirement gift in favour of six gazetted, 65 Non-gazetted officers and 29 lower subordinates including six followers. The personnel belong to different units and wings of the department.
Retirement gift at a uniform rate of rupees sixty thousands is sanctioned out of Contributory Police Welfare Fund for each police personnel on his retirement. The gift serves as a token of appreciation for their services rendered to the department.
