JAMMU, Jan 12: Director General of Police (DGP), Prisons, J&K SK Mishra has ordered promotion of 2 Head Warders to the rank of Incharge Assistant Superintendents, 17 SG Warders to the rank of Head Warders and 24 Warders to the rank of SG Warders. Besides, 4 barbers and 1 orderly have been promoted to the next higher grades/rank.
The promotions were cleared by the Departmental Promotion Committee which met earlier this week under the chairmanship of SK Mishra.
DGP Prisons expressed hope that the promotees will continue to work with the same zeal and shoulder their new responsibilities efficiently. He said that the department would make all possible efforts to order timely promotions and to create more promotion avenues for the prison staff.
