JAMMU, Apr 25: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DFSS) under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta today took out a protest in Jammu city against the savage behaviour of the stone pelters in Kashmir against the defence forces.
The protesters raising slogans against the separatists and stone pelters said in view of the coming Amarnath Yatra, the Government should take stringent action against the stone pelters. They said any disturbance in holy Amarnath Yatra will not be tolerated.
The protesters while warning the Government said that the increasing stone pelting incidents will be demoralizing for the security forces and demanded that they should be given the full powers to deal with the stone pelters and separatists.
Addressing the protesters, Ashok Gupta, said that the incidents of violence against the Kashmiri students in the Country is condemnable, but the incidents of violence i.e stone pelting and attack with petrol bombs by the students in the Valley is just promoting hatred among the entire country for the Kashmiris and when the reciprocation happens the students who are studying in different parts of the country are on the receiving end.
“When a student was beaten in an educational institute the entire political arena of Kashmir started shouting but when these students pelt stones on the security forces they were paid and no one talks about the bruises or the safety of these defence personnel.”, Gupta said, adding, this only shows the double standard of Kashmiris that they never condemn the action of pelting stones on the forces.
