UDHAMPUR, Oct 25: Devika Hyundai unveiled the all new Santro 2018.
The unveiling was done by Raees Mohammad Bhat, SSP Udhampur, Aanand Pal Singh, JK Bank’s Zonal Head Udhampur and Nasir Hussain, Manager, Canteen Stores Department in presence of Managing Director Abhimaniue Gupta, Joint MD Karan Pal Singh Sahni, Directors of Devika Hyundai, Rajinder Koul, General Manager and customers.
The online booking for the 2018 Hyundai Santro has been started at Rs 11,100 for the first 50,000 customers as an introductory offer. The brand Santro has a huge value in the Indian market and customers have fond memories of the car.
Much of the Santro’s development was done at Hyundai Motor India’s research and development facility in Hyderabad in tandem with development centers abroad. The car will be manufactured only in India and will be exported to emerging and developed markets. Hyundai is looking at monthly sales of 8,000 to 10,000 units with the automatic manual transmission (AMT) variant contributing a large chunk.
Santro was the first car launched by Hyundai Motor India Limited in 1998 and it was phased out in 2014. The All New Santro is Hyundai’s R&D innovation in Modern Mobility.
