Development of Ziarat Sharief Panj Peer completed

JAMMU, Apr 25: Minister for Haj, Auqaf and Public Enterprises Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed today dedicated newly constructed shrine building of Ziarat Sharief Panj Peer (RA) Manda to the devotees.
The development project for the shrine located near Amar Mahal on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, included construction of a Masjid and new shrine building, besides beautification of its surroundings. The project has been completed at a cost of Rs 1.20 crore by the Auqaf Islamia, Jammu by utilizing its own resources
The construction and renovation of Panj Peer Ziarat was taken up as part of the reconstruction and development of Ziarats and Mosques initiated by Auqaf Islamia Jammu.
The Minister appreciated Auqaf Islamia Jammu for generating income and putting it to the use for community welfare. He said the Auqaf Islamia, Jammu has utilized its income for the construction of Haj House Jammu, Mosques and development of various Ziarats.
Earlier, the Minister paid obeisance at the Ziarat and prayed for peace and prosperity of the State.
Later, the Minister went round the Ziarat and interacted with the devotees who had come to attend the annual Urs. During the Urs people from all communities and faiths pay obeisance at the Ziarat.
