Development of Mantalai

Sir,
The drum-beaters of equal development of all three regions of the State should explain why once internationally known Mantalai has turned into ruins. It has been seen that after the death of Swami Dhirendra Brahmachari, Aparna Asram and its properties passed on many hands and every effort has been made to plunder this well established international Yoga Research Centre. Even the concerns of some Jammu Legislators in State Assembly could not save the honour and dignity of Mantalai.
Due to personal efforts of Dr Jitendra Singh local MP and MoS in P.M.O. sufficient grant was sanctioned for development of Mantalai-Sudhmahadev. As per need this entire amount should have been sanctioned for International Yoga Ashram and promotion of religions pilgrimage in Sudhmahadev and Mantalai but Patnitop has also been added with this plan to drain crores of rupees. It is pertinent to mention that Patnitop already has sufficient tourism infrastructure being the Headquarter of Patnitop Development Authority and separate funds are sanctioned for its development.
During the past two years work on only one component has been started. There is nobody to tell if completed who will utilise the raised infrastructure. Moroever there is no renovation activity on already existing infrastructure and it is turning into ruins. Efforts should be made to make a museum on the name of Swami Dhirendra Brahmachari and display his belonging there for public view.
The Gandhi Nagar Branch of Aparna Ashram should be handed over to University of Jammu for Library -cum-Guest House. In order to save new and old multi million infrastacture at Mantalai it should be brought under one controlling Head to function as Yoga University at International level.
