Deputation of Nagrota residents meets Rana

JAMMU, Oct 18: A deputation of residents of villages Dhok Waziran, Nagrota Bazaar, Slathia Mohalla, Toll Post Mohalla and Indra Colony Mohalla today met with MLA Nagrota, Devender Singh Rana at village Chak Rakwallan during a Janta Darbar and took up some burning issues with him.
The main issues that were taken up by the deputation were construction of a separate washroom for ladies near Kali Mata Temple, Sainik School, Nagrota and construction of a community hall at Nagrota. The MLA gave a patient hearing to the demands of the deputation and on spot announced Rs 13 lakh (10 lakh for community hall and Rs 3 lakh for ladies washroom).
Rameshwar Dutt Sharma (Ex-Sarpanch Nagrota), Raman Wazir (Ex-Sarpanch Dhok Waziran), Suresh Sharma (Ex-Panch Ward No 2) and AS Manhas (president, Mohalla Welfare Committee, Indra Colony) were part of the deputation.
