Delhi 71/1 against J&K’s 160

JAMMU, Dec 6: Formidable Delhi were 71/1 against Jammu and Kashmir’s 160 in the first innings at stumps on day-1 of the ongoing Vijay Merchant Under-16 Cricket Tournament at Palam cricket ground, Delhi.
Yash Dhoull was unbeaten on 39 while Gourav Rana was playing on 27 when the stumps were drawn today. For J&K, Mohammad Yawar claimed the lone wicket to fall.
Earlier, batting first, J&K scored a total of 160 runs in their first innings. Opener Yuvraj Saini was the top scorer with 40 runs off 82 balls, studded with 6 boundaries, while Dhruv Gupta and Ashim Nanda contributed 34 and 21 runs to the total respectively. Praful Dhar remained unbeaten on 9 runs, while skipper Mohammad Manzir made 8 runs.
