KATHUA, Feb 15: A decomposed body was found in a jungle half a kilometer away from village Seowan in Chadwal area of Kathua district today.
According to police some people saw the decomposed body of a male person in the jungle half a km away from village Seowan today and they informed the Chadwal Police Post about it.
Later, a Police party visited the area and took the dead body into its custody. On identification it was found that the dead body was of Karan Singh S/o Teja Singh of village Seowan who was reportedly missing for last two months and a report was lodged by his family with the police in this regard.
The police took the body to DH Kathua for postmortem and later it was handed over to family for cremation.
