DDE students organize cultural programme

JAMMU, Oct 24: In an attempt to provide entertaining atmosphere to the students of Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu, BA- Part III students today organized and presented a mesmerizing cultural programme in the Seminar Hall of DDE.
The students who were found best in their performance of singing, dance, instruments and poetry, were presented with trophies. They included Kanchan Kachroo, Ridha Sharma, Anita, Davinder Singh, Mamta Arora, Sonia, Mamta Devi, Sandweep Kour, Prinka and Rohit Aman.
Prof V D Singh, Director DDE, who was chief guest on the occasion, expressed his happiness and appreciation for organizing a cultural programme in a befitting manner and said that the students of Distance Education Department are equally talented viz-a-vis regular students of the University.
Earlier, in her welcome address, Dr Anuradha Goswami, Asstt Professor, DDE, informed that besides attending the fifteen days Personal Conduct Programme, the students prepared the programme within a short span of time.
The programme was ably conducted by Rupinder Singh and Ayushi while vote of thanks was presented by Atul.
