RAMBAN, Jan 18: Taking action against the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), who is also Nodal Officer for works taken up under BRGF Scheme, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Mohammad Aijaz has ordered to withhold his salary with immediate effect besides calling an explanation.
The action was taken against ACD for non-submission of requisite information related with the execution of development works under BRGF and very low expenditure recorded till January.
Pertinent to mention that many times the officer was directed to furnish the details of works taken up for execution under BRGF scheme but very casual response was shown by the officer which may be serious dereliction of duty and official conduct.
