DDC reviews progress on various schemes

JAMMU, Dec 13: District Development Commissioner, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan convened a meeting to review the physical and financial progress made under District CAPEX Budget, State sector and Centrally sponsored schemes, here today.
Threadbare discussion was held on various issues including progress on uploading of the list of all schemes in Public Financial Management System (PFMS) portal, their progress on DBT mode, physical and financial progress under CSS/State sector/District sector schemes/PMDP, reports regarding various PILs, inter-department co-ordination issues in implementation of schemes/PMDP package, land related issues of various departments, submission of weekly progress report of various schemes to be furnished to the Chief Secretary, impediments in works, requirement of funds, if any, for administrative approved works only with preference to district development board decisions, CM’s commitments and ATRs on DDB decisions.
While taking a serious note of low expenditure in Health, Education, PWD, the DDC emphasized upon officers to book expenditure up to 70% of the approved allocation ending December, 2017 in view of the circular instructions issued by the Finance Department as only 30% of the allocation will be available for its utilization during the last quarter of the current financial year 2017-18.
Among others, Chief Planning Officer, G. L. Sharma, Superintendent Engineers of various departments, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer and AD (P&S) were also present in the meeting.
